     Although Michelle Rothwell's Dora & Diego Homeschool Spanish online program has been widely praised for its easy to use format and student friendly layout, some parents asked us for something they could use at home with their children. So, we gathered together our years of experience with young Spanish students and created Español de Iglesia Para Niños, a beginning Church Spanish course for students in Preschool through 12th grade.

     Español de Iglesia Para Niños was developed for children who are still becoming familiar with English grammar and wish to learn Spanish at a slower pace, one class per week.  The classes created for upper grade school children can be learned at a faster pace, one class per day  The program provides 25 lessons, each including a grammar skill, 5 or more vocabulary words, an everyday Spanish phrase, the names for the books of the Bible, and one line of a prayer that is learned completely over five lessons. 

    The exercises that go with each lesson are thorough and provide constant review of materials learned throughout the course. After every five lessons, a review chapter summarizes the material covered.  With grammar lessons appropriate for primary grades and an easy to read format, Español de Iglesia Para Niños is the perfect choice for those who would like to start Spanish early and lay the corner stone of a complete language arts program that is biblically based.

    Español de Iglesia Para Niños was written to lead the students directly into their next grade level, allowing students to complete an entire Spanish series without missing important concepts or vocabulary.  Español de Iglesia Para Niños has an audio CD which includes pronunciation for each lesson that can be purchased separately or in a package.
